Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift and carry heavy items
Good communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

Prior experience in a dishwasher or similar role preferred
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards
Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment
Basic understanding of workplace health and safety guidelines
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Job Duties

Ensure the cleanliness of every dish, pot, pan, piece of silverware, and glass that goes to the kitchen and our guests
Ensure the dishwashing machine is operating at correct temperatures in all cycles
Ensure that the proper detergents and levels of detergents are being used in the dishwashing machine and pot washing sinks
Ensure the proper sanitizers are being used when cleaning walls, countertops, and floors
Follow all company, state, and federal workplace health and safety guidelines
Maintain an inventory of all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, and kitchen utensils to help control loss and waste
Adhere to all daily and weekly cleaning schedules
Ensure the dish area, kitchen floor, and storage areas are spotlessly clean at all times
Ensure the back dock and dumpster areas are free from debris
Assist kitchen with prep as appropriate
