Red Lobster is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Dishwashers/Utility workers. This role is crucial to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and food safety the brand is known for. Candidates will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The Dishwasher/Utility position also supports the kitchen by assisting with food preparation tasks such as prepping ingredients and making the signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, contributing to the overall guest experience.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires working closely with cooks and other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety protocols are essential. The role is physically demanding, involving tasks such as bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods, typically an 8 to 12-hour shift. Job Duties
- Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
- Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
- Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
- Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
- Supporting cooks with prep work and preparation of signature Cheddar Bay biscuits
- Focusing on team and guests in all decisions
- Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
