The Dishwasher/Utility role at Red Lobster is a vital part of maintaining the restaurant's high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. This position focuses on cleaning and sanitizing the dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils, ensuring everything is ready for the kitchen and guests. Operating dishwashing equipment safely and correctly is a key responsibility, as is maintaining cleanliness throughout all restaurant areas, including kitchens and other service zones. In addition to dishwashing, the Utility team supports kitchen operations by assisting with food prep tasks such as preparing Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. The role demands collaboration and a team-oriented mindset, always prioritizing the guest and team experience while adhering to strict cleanliness and safety protocols.

Candidates for this position should possess physical stamina, as the role requires bending, reaching, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended shifts of 8 to 12 hours. Job Duties

  • Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant
  • Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Safely and correctly operating the dishwasher and other equipment
  • Emptying all trash in the kitchen and other areas
  • Working as one kitchen, by supporting the cooks with prep work, preparation of our signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, and other tasks as needed
  • Focusing on your team and guests - every decision made should always have the guest and team in mind
  • Following all cleanliness and safety protocols
