In this role as a Dishwasher, you will be an integral part of the Covenant Living dining services team. The Dishwasher position involves operating dishwashing machinery efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and order throughout nutrition services storage and kitchen work areas. Responsibilities include running the dishwashing machine, monitoring water temperatures and cleaning compound levels to ensure sanitary conditions, and keeping all kitchen equipment and dining utensils clean and ready for use. You will play a critical supporting role by assisting in the maintenance of dish room and kitchen equipment, keeping stock areas organized, transporting carts between service points, and ensuring that food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, and pans are all properly washed, sanitized, and stored according to standard procedures. This role also entails delivering clean water pitchers to nursing stations and fulfilling food requests as needed to support nursing and dietary staff.

Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining high sanitary standards in all food and service areas, following all safety and sanitation protocols rigorously. Part of your duties will include sweeping and mopping floors and work areas, performing other cleaning assignments as directed, and assisting with the transportation of residents during emergencies following established procedures. This position is vital for the smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining services and helps ensure that Covenant Living's residents receive safe, nutritious meals in a pleasant and hygienic environment.

This is a dining department role with a pay range of $14.44 to $17.35 per hour, reflecting the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, education, and other factors.
