Job Description
Cooper's Hawk is a unique winery and restaurant concept that blends a modern yet casual dining experience with the elegance and charm of a Napa-style tasting room. Established in 2005, Cooper's Hawk has grown into a lifestyle brand that offers not only exceptional scratch-kitchen cuisine but also an award-winning wine club that is among the largest in the world. The concept combines retail wine offerings, private event space, and a welcoming restaurant atmosphere designed for both entertaining and everyday dining. Renowned for their culinary and wine-pairing experiences, Cooper's Hawk creates memorable moments that delight guests with every visit. With the addition of Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, the company has extended its vibrant flavors to include Roman-style Italian cuisine, further enriching its diverse and high-quality dining portfolio.
The Dishwasher role at Cooper's Hawk is vital to the seamless operation of the kitchen and overall guest experience. As a key member of the back-of-house team, the Dishwasher ensures that all kitchenware, utensils, and dishes are impeccably clean and available when needed. This position requires attention to detail, consistent teamwork, and a dedication to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards that support the restaurant’s commitment to uncompromising hospitality. Dishwashers at Cooper's Hawk not only maintain cleanliness but also contribute to a smooth and efficient kitchen environment by following daily cleaning routines, communicating effectively with team members, and assisting with light prep work or receiving deliveries when necessary. This role suits individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy working as part of a cohesive team, and take pride in contributing to a clean and welcoming environment for both guests and co-workers.
Working at Cooper's Hawk offers more than just a job; it is an opportunity to grow within a company that values its team members with competitive benefits and career growth plans. Dishwashers and other team members receive dining discounts, retail wine discounts, monthly wine tastings, and access to wellness programs plus medical, dental, vision, and telehealth coverage. With additional perks such as a 401k plan with company match, paid time off, flexible scheduling options, and early pay access, employees find a supportive work environment that fosters both personal and professional development. Cooper's Hawk encourages a positive attitude and inclusive culture, reflecting its commitment to equal opportunity employment and accommodating reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring process.
Overall, the Dishwasher at Cooper's Hawk is an entry-level yet essential role that provides foundational support to the kitchen team and contributes directly to the guest experience. The position requires reliability, physical stamina, and a willingness to engage with coworkers to maintain a high standard of hospitality. For candidates passionate about hospitality and looking to join a dynamic and respected company in the hospitality industry, Cooper's Hawk represents an excellent place to start or further a career.
