At Friendship Village of Bloomington, we are hiring Kitchen Attendants to join our dynamic team. This hourly position offers a pay range of $15.00 to $20.45 based on experience and qualifications. This role is ideal for individuals eager to start or grow their career in a supportive and meaningful environment. As a Kitchen Attendant, you will be responsible for washing and sanitizing pots, dishes, utensils, and carts either by mechanical washing or handwashing, ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and safety in food service areas. You will also handle stocking and rotating food and non-food supplies using proper storage techniques to maintain freshness and safety. Proper maintenance of chemical levels and temperatures in dishwashing equipment and sinks is essential, as is completing kitchen closedown procedures including sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, shutting off kitchen equipment, and locking storage areas.
