Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred
- current California Food Handlers Card required
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in wet, humid, hot or cold conditions
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- current California Food Handlers Card
- ability to read two and three syllable words
- recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- operate and maintain dish machine
- take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
- bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- receive and store all orders properly
- assist in food preparation as needed
- assist different departments and team members as needed
