Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred
current California Food Handlers Card required
ability to communicate effectively in English
ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
willingness to work in wet, humid, hot or cold conditions
availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
current California Food Handlers Card
ability to read two and three syllable words
recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
operate and maintain dish machine
take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
receive and store all orders properly
assist in food preparation as needed
assist different departments and team members as needed
