Job Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), such as cookware and dish racks
  • perform repetitive motions, such as scrubbing and drying
  • work in a humid environment near sinks and dishwashers
  • maintain physical stamina to handle long shifts in a fast-paced setting

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus but not required
  • knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and safety practices
  • ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively
  • strong attention to detail and organization
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Duties

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • ensure all items are properly dried and stored in designated areas
  • maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and equipment
  • assist kitchen staff with cleaning tasks as needed
  • monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the kitchen manager
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager
