The role of Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster is a vital position within the restaurant team, responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment essential for smooth kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher/Utility team member, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils to maintain pristine kitchen standards. You will operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, while also managing trash disposal throughout kitchen and dining areas. This role requires collaborative teamwork, assisting cooks with preparation tasks including supporting the preparation of Red Lobster's signature Cheddar Bay biscuits. Employees must stay focused on delivering excellent guest experiences by making decisions with both guests and the team in mind, while diligently following all cleanliness and safety guidelines.

Physical demands of the role include the ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 50 pounds, as well as standing for prolonged periods during shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours. Prospective candidates should be team players with strong attention to detail and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Culinary experience is preferred but not mandatory.
