Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for extended periods
- physical ability to lift heavy kitchen items
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
- strong attention to detail
- good physical stamina
- strong teamwork and communication skills
- willingness to take on varied kitchen tasks
Job Duties
- Operate and maintain the dish washing equipment
- ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
- assist with the organization and stocking of clean dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils and storage containers
- maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dish washing station and surrounding areas
- maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift
- change water of machines and sinks as mandated or more often as required
- properly use chemical dilutions set by management
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste
- assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by Kitchen Lead
