Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift heavy kitchen items
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
  • strong attention to detail
  • good physical stamina
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • willingness to take on varied kitchen tasks

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain the dish washing equipment
  • ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
  • assist with the organization and stocking of clean dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils and storage containers
  • maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dish washing station and surrounding areas
  • maintain clean and dry floors throughout the shift
  • change water of machines and sinks as mandated or more often as required
  • properly use chemical dilutions set by management
  • follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and disposal of kitchen waste
  • assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by Kitchen Lead
