Job Description

Cracker Barrel is a renowned American chain of combined restaurant and gift stores with a mission to create a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy hearty, home-style meals and discover unique retail items. Established in 1969, Cracker Barrel has grown to become a beloved destination for families and travelers alike, boasting more than 70,000 team members nationwide. Known for its hospitality and commitment to quality, Cracker Barrel emphasizes a culture of belonging where every employee is valued and encouraged to contribute to the company’s success.

As a Dishwasher at Cracker Barrel, you play an essential behind-the-scenes role that supports the smooth operation of the kitchen. Though this position might seem simple, it is fundamental to maintaining the high standards the restaurant is known for. You will ensure that all pots, pans, utensils, plates, and glassware are impeccably clean and ready for use, allowing the kitchen team to focus on preparing and serving delicious meals. This role not only keeps the kitchen organized but also upholds health and safety standards critical in a busy restaurant environment.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who can stay organized under pressure, multitask efficiently, and maintain a strong focus on cleanliness and teamwork. Past restaurant experience is not required as comprehensive training is provided through Cracker Barrel's industry-leading PAR training program, starting from day one. This program supports your development and prepares you for growth opportunities within the company. The dishwasher role is a gateway position where your hard work and dedication are recognized and rewarded.

Cracker Barrel values its employees and offers competitive pay with weekly and same-day pay access. Eligibility for health insurance begins from the very first day of employment, available to both full-time and part-time employees. Additional benefits include vacation time, access to an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan with company matching after 90 days of employment. Furthermore, employees can participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Program, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment.

The company’s strong culture of support means that from onboarding through ongoing training and recognition programs, you'll experience a workplace that respects and invests in its team members. Social events and employee recognition initiatives contribute to a positive working atmosphere where everyone feels a part of the family. Beyond just work, employees enjoy exclusive discounts on Cracker Barrel food and retail products, as well as special perks on home goods, travel, mobile phones, and more.

Joining Cracker Barrel means joining a community. It's a place where your contributions matter and where you can thrive in a supportive environment centered on shared values. Whether you’re greeting guests or keeping the kitchen running flawlessly, your role is vital to the memorable experiences Cracker Barrel offers its customers day after day. Apply today and become part of a company that’s truly all in good company.
