Sunrise Senior Living is a prominent company specializing in senior living communities, dedicated to providing a vibrant, supportive environment for older adults to thrive. Recognized for their nurturing culture, Sunrise has been repeatedly certified as a Great Place to Work by Activated Insights, reflecting their commitment to creating a positive and empowering workplace. The company operates numerous communities where residents receive compassionate care, social opportunities, and a sense of belonging, promising a high quality of life for their residents.
This particular opportunity is within the Huntcliff Summit community, where Sunrise continues to prioritize resident well-being and team growth. The company places a strong emphasis on its mission, principles of service, and core values, centered on the sacred value of human life, ensuring every team member contributes meaningfully to this ethos.
The Dishwasher position is an entry-level yet essential role within the Dining Services team, entrusted with maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all food-related areas. The responsibilities extend beyond basic dishwashing to include janitorial duties, equipment cleaning, inventory management, and occasionally assisting with food preparation and service. This role is key to supporting the kitchen and dining operations to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike.
Candidates in this role will develop a hands-on understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, along with opportunities to contribute to the overall success of the community’s dining experience. The role offers a supportive and engaging work culture, where teamwork and communication are highly valued. Through participation in team meetings, training sessions, and community events, employees are encouraged to grow professionally and personally.
The benefits of working at Sunrise Senior Living include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance plans, retirement savings options, employee assistance programs, paid time off, and opportunities for tuition reimbursement. Flexible pay options such as myFlexPay enable employees to receive prompt payment after shifts, enhancing financial convenience.
Sunrise ensures a safe work environment by requiring pre-employment health screenings, including drug tests, TB tests, physical evaluations, and background checks when applicable. This vigilance protects residents and team members, underscoring the company’s commitment to health and safety standards.
The Dishwasher role is a vital part of Sunrise Senior Living’s operations, offering the chance to work in a supportive and well-regarded senior living community. Employees in this role not only develop valuable skills in sanitation and food service but also contribute directly to the quality of life for vulnerable populations. With steady compensation, a variety of benefits, and a welcoming team atmosphere, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking meaningful employment in a respected company dedicated to senior care and community wellness.
