In this role, you will be a vital part of the team with responsibilities that include delivering exceptional cleanliness standards, following all safety and sanitation protocols, and assisting other kitchen staff during busy times. You will handle chemicals safely and use proper equipment operation techniques to maintain kitchen hygiene. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will be sorting dishware and managing trash while minimizing breakage of glassware and utensils. The position also involves maintaining kitchen floors, walls, and drains, assisting with line maintenance, supporting banquet and prep tasks as directed, and ensuring a favorable and cooperative work environment that fosters team morale and productivity.

Frequent communication with supervisors and coworkers, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to smile while working various shifts including days, nights, and weekends are essential qualities for success in this role. Previous experience in maintenance within a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not mandatory, as on-the-job training is provided. The role requires discipline, self-motivation, and adherence to dress guidelines with a neat and professional appearance consistently maintained.
