Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Ability to operate industrial dishwashing machines
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation techniques
  • Ability to handle and sort dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area
  • Ensure all dishware, cookware, and utensils are sanitized and stored properly
  • Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers regularly
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning tasks as required
  • Assist with unloading and storing kitchen deliveries
