We are currently hiring Dishwashers to join our passionate staff either on a full-time or part-time basis. The Dishwasher role is essential in ensuring a safe and sanitized environment for both our staff and guests. This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all types of dishware, drinkware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using industrial dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods. Dishwashers play a critical role in keeping the dish room clean, organized, and running efficiently. In addition to routine cleaning tasks, the Dishwasher will assist with kitchen prep during busy periods and support receiving deliveries by loading and unloading trucks. Proper sanitation practices and safety procedures are paramount in this role to meet health and safety standards consistently.

As a Dishwasher, you will be integral to the kitchen operations, ensuring dishes and equipment are cleaned effectively and supporting a clean and safe workplace. This role requires excellent customer service etiquette, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment, and the flexibility to manage various tasks, including cleaning spills, maintaining kitchen work areas, and assisting other kitchen staff as needed. This position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and possess a Food Handler's Card where applicable.   • Ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team work environment

Job Duties

  • Operates an industrial dishwasher
  • Wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions
  • Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment
  • Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures
  • Place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles
  • Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times, including basic prep
  • Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies
  • Perform opening, closing and side work
  • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
