The role available is that of a Dishwasher/General Cleaner, a vital position that ensures the smooth and hygienic functioning of the restaurant operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • 1-3 months related experience or training
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read and understand basic English
  • Physical ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel and crouch as required
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Commitment to safety and hygiene protocols
  • Dependability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dish machine
  • Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
  • Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Receive and store all orders properly
  • Assist in food preparation as needed
  • Work in multiple departments as assigned
  • Work on special projects or other operations tasks as directed
  • Adapt to altered job duties or additional responsibilities
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
