The role of Dishwasher at the Firestone Walker Taproom Restaurant is a vital position focused on maintaining cleanliness and efficiency behind the scenes. This is a part-time role that requires a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who embraces a 'can do' attitude and enjoys being part of a team environment. The Dishwasher ensures that all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment are thoroughly washed and sanitized to meet health and safety standards, supporting smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities include operating dishwashing machinery correctly, maintaining a clean and organized dish room, monitoring equipment and supply levels, and assisting with general sanitation duties in food preparation and production areas.

This position demands physical stamina and the ability to work in a hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for extended periods. Candidates must be prepared to lift and carry heavy items safely, work on their feet for long shifts, and be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Firestone Walker places an emphasis on teamwork and reliability, encouraging dishwashers to fill in and assist as needed to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
