Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred
- Current California Food Handlers Card required
- Ability to read and interpret written information
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand regularly and occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to work safely around machinery, sharp objects and open flames
- Must comply with grooming and appearance standards
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain dish machine
- Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
- Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- Receive and store all orders properly
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Adapt to assigned roles in multiple departments or special projects as directed
- Follow company policies regarding job duties and assignments
