Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months related experience or training
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read basic words
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding
  • Able to stand, use hands, talk and hear
  • Able to stoop, kneel or crouch occasionally
  • Able to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 months related experience or training
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dish machine
  • Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
  • Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Receive and store all orders properly
  • Assist in food preparation as needed
  • Work in multiple departments or on special projects as assigned
  • Adapt to changes in job duties and responsibilities as directed
