Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience a plus
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Skill and coordination in using kitchen tools and equipment
- Ability to remain standing for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- Ability to tolerate exposure to cold and hot temperatures (below 40F and above 140F) throughout the shift
- Ability to hear, understand, and respond to employees' requests in a loud environment
- Ability to tolerate exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Set up dish area
- Clean dishes, glasses, pots, and pans throughout the shift
- Inspect dishes as they come out of the machine for cleanliness
- Stock plates and kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean workspace including mopping floors and cleaning walls
- Assist the chef with food prep and detailed cleaning
- Organize shelves and put orders away
