Job Requirements

  • Be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
  • Be able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds generally
  • Follow all systems, policies, and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Practice proper safety guidelines at all times
  • Use proper cleaning supplies for their intended purpose
  • Maintain honesty and integrity throughout employment
  • Be able to work in spaces with varying noise, temperature, and crowd levels
  • Properly read a thermometer
  • Maintain cleanliness of garbage receptacles

Job Qualifications

  • Have availability to work a variety of hours including weekends and holidays
  • Successfully complete alcohol awareness training and/or food handler training course(s)
  • Be committed to teamwork and have a pleasant attitude
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Be proficient in the use of dish-machine and related cleaning equipment
  • Able to multitask while maintaining calm professionalism
  • Clear and hospitable communication skills

Job Duties

  • Properly wash and sanitize all glassware, dishware, and food service items
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas
  • Follow all cleaning and safety procedures as instructed by management
  • Utilize dishwashing equipment including dish machine and three-compartment sinks proficiently
  • Handle tools and equipment such as knives, slicers, and power washers safely
  • Empty and clean garbage cans regularly
  • Communicate clearly and work cooperatively with team members to ensure efficient operations
