Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • 1-3 months related experience or training
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions
  • Must be physically able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Flexibility to work in multiple departments and adapt to changing job duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dish machine
  • Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
  • Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Receive and store all orders properly
  • Assist in food preparation as needed
  • Assist different departments and teammates other than primary job code as needed
  • Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary to the operations of the company
  • Adapt to changes in job duties and assignments as directed
  • Follow safety and sanitation procedures
