Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 1-3 months related experience or training
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions
- Must be physically able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Flexibility to work in multiple departments and adapt to changing job duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain dish machine
- Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
- Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- Receive and store all orders properly
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Assist different departments and teammates other than primary job code as needed
- Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary to the operations of the company
- Adapt to changes in job duties and assignments as directed
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures
