Job Requirements

High school diploma/GED or equivalent
1-3 months related experience or training
Current California Food Handlers Card
Ability to read two and three syllable words
Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
Ability to speak and understand English
Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple instructions
Must be physically able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
Flexibility to work in multiple departments and adapt to changing job duties

Job Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Current California Food Handlers Card
Ability to read two and three syllable words
Recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Operate and maintain dish machine
Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
Receive and store all orders properly
Assist in food preparation as needed
Assist different departments and teammates other than primary job code as needed
Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary to the operations of the company
Adapt to changes in job duties and assignments as directed
Follow safety and sanitation procedures
