As a Dishroom Lead at Sodexo, your role is central in maintaining the hygiene and operational excellence of kitchen areas. You will act as the senior team member responsible for overseeing daily dishroom activities including the cleaning of kitchen work spaces, equipment, and utensils. This position demands a reliable individual who can ensure the swift and efficient washing of dishes and pots both by hand and using machinery, alongside polishing silverware. Your responsibilities extend to maintaining cleanliness of floors, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, contributing to a safe and sanitary environment. You will also manage the transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and kitchen areas, ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of related experience
  • Ability to work morning shifts on weekdays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Maintain and clean kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils
  • Wash dishes/pots by hand or in a machine and polish silverware
  • Sweep, mop, and clean floor, and remove garbage to designated areas
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
  • Transfer supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas such as pantry and dish room
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned, depending on business necessities and client requirements
