The role of a Dishroom Attendant at gategroup is essential to maintaining the hygiene and operational efficiency within the food service environment. This position involves managing washable items such as trays, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, and silverware ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for use. The Dishroom Attendant supports the dishwashing process by sorting these items properly, operating the dishwasher conveyor belt, and stowing the cleaned items according to instructions, which may include packing based on customer diagrams. As part of a larger team, the Dishroom Attendant follows guidance from supervisors, works collaboratively with coworkers, and adapts to various duties as assigned by management.

In this physically demanding role, employees will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise, and will work with industrial cleaning chemicals requiring adherence to safety standards. The job requires the ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and to stand, bend, and move intermittently during shifts that can extend beyond eight hours. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Duties
