The role available is for a dedicated Kitchen Dishwasher who will be instrumental in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This position requires proficiency in operating dishwashing equipment according to established guidelines, ensuring that all glasses, dishes, pots, and pans are cleaned properly in their designated areas. The Dishwasher will be responsible for handling the cleaning and sanitizing of trash receptacles to maintain hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Attention to detail is essential, as the individual must ensure the kitchen is continually neat and clean by sweeping up broken glass and spills promptly. An understanding of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) protocols and kitchen safety guidelines is necessary to perform duties safely.

The Dishwasher will also assist with other kitchen tasks as assigned, including helping with plating for banquet events, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. Job Requirements

Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and move items weighing 10-25 pounds
Ability to handle cleaning agents safely according to MSDS
Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is preferred but not mandatory
Willingness to work flexible schedules
Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
Good teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine
Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack
Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area
Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times
This includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills
Empty full and heavy trash cans
Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use
Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning
Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines
Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed
