The Dish Room Attendant position at American Dining Creations is a critical role within the kitchen operations team aimed at supporting kitchen staff through essential cleaning and maintenance tasks. Based in Tyler, Texas, this role primarily involves dishwashing, janitorial duties, and ensuring the kitchen remains a clean, organized, and safe working environment. The attendant will be responsible for washing dishes, pots, and utensils using both dish machines and manual hand washing when necessary, maintaining cleanliness and organization in designated dish areas, and properly storing all kitchenware and cookware. An important aspect of the role is to maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels in dishwashing machines and sinks, ensuring compliance with business and health safety standards.

This position also demands responsibility for keeping floors clean and dry throughout shifts, assisting with timely food delivery stock, and orderly management of storage areas. Additional duties include bussing tables, emptying trash cans, sweeping, mopping, and the breakdown of boxes. There may be occasions when the Dish Room Attendant assists with food preparation and the breakdown and cleanup of food stations. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing stairs, and standing or walking for extended periods.
