Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent education
  • One year of experience in customer service or public relations
  • Criminal background check
  • Drug screening prior to final employment offer
  • Valid State of Iowa driver’s license
  • Completion of HIPAA training upon hire and annually
  • Mandatory Reporter of Child/Adult Abuse training within six months of hire and every three years thereafter
  • Position contingent on continued state funding
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work inclusively

Job Duties

  • Order, organize, and maintain event supplies, outreach materials, and promotional items

  • Develop event schedules, prepare materials, and ensure accessible and inclusive event environments
  • Record and transcribe meeting minutes, maintain records and files, perform data entry
  • Provide accurate program information and assist the general public, direct callers to appropriate personnel
  • Collaborate with team members across the department to support administrative tasks
  • Perform related duties as assigned
