Job Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Oregon
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Operating Room or Cardiac Cath Lab
- At least 2 years of progressive management experience in hospital setting
- Ability to lead in high-stress and emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- BLS and ACLS certification
Job Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in Operating Room (OR) or Cardiac Cath Lab
- Minimum of 2+ years of progressive management experience at Manager or Director level in a hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and surgical procedures
- Demonstrated ability to lead in high-stress, emergency situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team
- BLS, ACLS required
- CNOR, RCIS preferred
Job Duties
- Direct daily operations of surgical suites, recovery areas, and cardiovascular procedural units
- Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive strategic plan for surgical and cardiovascular services
- Optimize throughput, patient flow, and resource utilization to improve efficiency
- Manage inventory, supply chain, and equipment maintenance to ensure department readiness
- Ensure 24/7 compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies
- Hire, train, evaluate, and mentor nursing and technical staff including RNs, CVTs, and Techs
- Oversee staffing patterns, scheduling, and labor productivity benchmarks
