The role of Director, Pricing at LCS is a senior leadership position focused on strategic pricing leadership for all LCS communities. This role is crucial in overseeing the enterprise governance of entrance fee budgeting and forecasting, the implementation of pricing strategies for monthly service fees across various product types, and the management of financial qualification modeling. The Director will ensure compliant and consistent treatment of complex resident contracts while setting standards for forecasting assumptions, pricing guardrails, and financial qualification inputs. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Regional Finance, Sales and Operations, and Accounting to maintain alignment and ensure all pricing-related decisions are well-supported and approved. The Director also leads the continuous improvement of entrance fee processing and pricing analytics, driving automation, system enhancements, and standardization efforts to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.

This leadership role involves managing a team through hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and employee relations, supporting the team’s development and contribution to the organization’s success. The Director acts as a key escalation point for complex pricing judgments and contract issues, ensuring that pricing models and analytics meet governance and documentation standards suitable for internal and external reviews. Reporting responsibilities include oversight of entrance fee sales, cash activity, refund obligations, pricing performance, market positioning, capital budgets, and investment results. The successful candidate will have a strong background in pricing, revenue strategy, financial planning and analysis, or technical accounting, combined with demonstrated leadership abilities and executive communication skills. This role offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $163,000 along with comprehensive benefits in a supportive environment committed to excellence and community impact.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting finance economics or related field
  • minimum 10 years progressive experience across pricing revenue strategy FP&A or technical accounting
  • experience leading complex contract accounting or pricing revenue optimization initiatives
  • excellent executive communication and cross-functional influence skills
  • strong executive presence and ability to lead through complexity and change
  • demonstrated ability to scale accounting operations in centralized or center of excellence model

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Own the end-to-end operating model for net entrance fee budgeting and forecasting
  • build out and operationalize pricing recommendations including monthly service fees and annual increases
  • provide pricing analytics supporting recommendations and operational decisions
  • ensure consistency integrity and scalability of pricing models and tools
  • work collaboratively with key leaders to ensure alignment on recommendations and secure necessary approvals
  • establish enterprise standards for financial qualifications forecasting assumptions and model governance
  • serve as final escalation point for complex pricing and contract judgments
