This position offers an exciting opportunity to join the Winebow family as a key leader within the company. The role is focused on providing strategic partnership and leadership to the regional wholesale sales team under the guidance of the Senior Vice President of Wholesale Sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, business, and financial functions of their assigned region, ensuring alignment with company-wide strategic goals. This involves managing the regional portfolio development including reviewing, recommending, and executing decisions on product additions, deletions, and pricing adjustments to maintain profitable margins. The position demands establishing robust tools and metrics for supplier performance analysis and executing action plans aimed at enhancing portfolio results.
Additionally, this role involves building and managing a high-performing team of portfolio managers to effectively implement business strategies. Working closely with senior sales leadership, the candidate will facilitate supplier visits, promotional activities, and special programs to drive sales growth. Responsibilities extend to ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations, developing administrative policies, budgeting and controlling division expenditures, and promoting a positive image of Winebow internally and externally. The role requires proactive monitoring of internal and external operational environments to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that could impact business performance. The successful candidate will be held accountable for meeting agreed-upon goals and objectives in a manner that supports the overall mission of Winebow Fine Wine & Spirits. Given the nature of the role, frequent travel via car and plane is expected, alongside a typical office environment. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 7+ years of experience in the fine wine industry
- 3+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Exceptional knowledge of fine wine
- Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills
- Highly proficient with MS Office
- Knowledge of Navision a plus
- Valid driver’s license

Job Duties
- Acts as a strategic partner with the Senior Vice President of Wholesale Sales and provides key leadership in administrative, business and financial aspects for their region
- Oversees and directs the strategic development of the regional portfolio including recommending additions, deletions and trades
- Establishes and updates product pricing to maintain margins
- Develops tools and metrics to analyze supplier performance
- Creates and executes action plans to improve portfolio performance
- Builds, develops and manages a team of Portfolio Managers
- Works closely with Senior Vice President of Sales on supplier visits, promotions and special programs
- Ensures strategic sales initiatives are conducted and executed on corporate and divisional levels
- Assists in the development of administrative policies and procedures
- Monitors internal and external environments for business insights
- Manages staffing, performance appraisals, budgeting, training compliance and division expenditures
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards
- Promotes a positive professional image of Winebow Fine Wine & Spirits
- Meets agreed goals and objectives effectively and timely
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned
- Conducts activities in accordance with company policies
- Trains staff on safety policies and reports accidents
