Job Description
Memorial Healthcare System, located in Hollywood, Florida, is a leading integrated healthcare delivery system dedicated to enhancing the health, well-being, and quality of life of the patients and communities it serves. With a strong commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care, Memorial Healthcare System operates multiple hospitals and outpatient facilities offering a wide range of medical services. The organization prides itself on its mission to provide exceptional care, supported by an environment that fosters innovation, teamwork, and professional growth for its employees. As a respected healthcare provider, Memorial Healthcare System emphasizes compliance with all healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, ensuring safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction across its practices.
This leadership opportunity at Memorial Healthcare involves directing and overseeing multiple physician practices to align with the organization's strategic goals and patient care standards. The successful candidate will hold a pivotal role in administering the operations of physician divisions and ensuring the accomplishment of the system’s objectives in quality, patient experience, and financial management. This position requires developing departmental goals and standards that are consistent with the broader organizational vision, as well as ensuring strict adherence to regulatory agencies and third-party payer requirements.
The role demands strong leadership skills, including planning, delegation, supervision, and the ability to motivate and empower teams. Candidates will lead efforts to improve patient experience scores, such as Press Ganey metrics, and maintain close working relationships with healthcare providers, staff, and other stakeholders within the healthcare system. The position also involves managing budgets, overseeing contracts and vendor relations, and ensuring the availability and maintenance of necessary systems, equipment, and supplies.
This role requires a minimum of five years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, although an Associate’s degree is the minimum educational requirement. The working environment includes physical activities such as bending, kneeling, lifting, and repetitive movements, as well as frequent use of computer monitors and other office equipment. This position demands critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in high-pressure situations with minimal supervision.
Memorial Healthcare System values diversity and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or any other legally protected status. The organization supports veterans’ preference and ensures a safe, respectful workplace. Candidates are encouraged to discuss actual salary and benefits details during the recruitment process. The employment is contingent upon successful completion of post-offer assessments, including drug testing. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request during the application process.
