This role seeks a strategic and dynamic leader to oversee the entire hotel operations as the General Manager at Detroit EDITION. This leadership position is full-time management employment with a competitive annual salary range of $124,000 to $178,500, and it offers relocation assistance for qualifying candidates. The compensation package is further enhanced by eligibility for bonuses, reinforcing a commitment to rewarding performance excellence.
The General Manager will be the key driver in orchestrating successful hotel operations across multiple departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage/Culinary, Engineering/Maintenance, and Recreation/Health Club. This role works closely with department heads to design and implement operational strategies aligned with the brand’s service standards and business objectives. Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
- OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, sales and marketing, management operations, or related professional area
- Ability to manage multiple departments within hotel operations
- Effective communication skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in analyzing financial reports and operational performance
- Willingness to foster employee engagement and guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications
- 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 4 years of relevant experience

- Strong leadership and team management skills

Job Duties
