Job Description

Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is a premier private, nonprofit, accredited university committed to offering exceptional education in the arts, design, and creative fields. With campuses in Savannah, Georgia; Lacoste, France; and online through SCAD eLearning, SCAD provides a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters creative growth and innovation. The university prides itself on nurturing a community built on respect, diversity, inclusion, and collaboration. SCAD’s commitment to fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals, regardless of background or identity, ensures that every member feels empowered to bring their authentic self to the community. SCAD’s culture champions innovation and solutions-driven approaches that allow for continuous improvement and positive engagement among students, faculty, and staff.

SCAD is currently seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join its team in roles that promote equity, inclusion, and security within the campus community. The environment at SCAD fosters respect and mutual understanding, supporting cultural diversity and inclusive excellence through strategic initiatives and ongoing training. The university emphasizes equal employment opportunities with a robust nondiscrimination policy that protects applicants and employees from discrimination based on sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, national origin, age, marital or parental status, disability, genetic information, religion, veteran status, or membership in any protected group. SCAD further prohibits sexual misconduct and provides resources for individuals to report concerns, contributing to a safe and supportive learning and work environment. Its commitment to safety is reflected in adherence to the Clery Act, requiring transparency and community engagement in ensuring personal security on campus.

Joining SCAD means becoming part of an innovative and supportive collective that values diverse ideas and perspectives. SCAD offers competitive employment conditions that honor the contributions and growth of its staff members. This role offers an opportunity to actively participate in creating a welcoming campus that supports equal opportunities and security measures. Responsibilities include fostering a respectful and inclusive culture, supporting compliance with nondiscrimination laws, educating the community on policies, and acting as a resource for safety and support. This position helps sustain an environment where everyone — students, staff, and faculty alike — can thrive in a positively oriented and ethically grounded setting.
