The Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) at La Mare Hotel & Residences is a key executive leadership role responsible for spearheading the full spectrum of revenue generation, brand positioning, and marketing initiatives. Joining approximately 10 months prior to the hotel's anticipated Q3 2027 opening, the DOSM will be instrumental in establishing La Mare’s place as the premier luxury destination in Miami and the global marketplace. Tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy, the DOSM works in close collaboration with the Remington Hospitality Commercial Strategy team to drive all facets of sales, marketing, brand management, digital presence, public relations, social media, partnerships, and revenue alignment efforts.
This role demands a visionary marketer and strategic seller who can inspire a high-performing sales team, forge meaningful partnerships within Miami’s luxury and cultural ecosystems, and lead sophisticated digital and content marketing campaigns. The DOSM will oversee the pre-opening commercial timeline, including sales deployment, PR strategy, brand identity and activation, digital ecosystem launch, and content development. By aligning the property’s sales and marketing initiatives with operational and financial objectives, the DOSM will ensure sustained revenue growth and asset value enhancement.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in luxury hospitality sales and marketing leadership, ideally with pre-opening exposure to lifestyle or mixed-use properties that blend hotel and residential components. Bilingual in English and Spanish, they will hold strong executive communication skills and a deep understanding of luxury traveler behavior, brand marketing, and global distribution channels. With a proven track record in rooftop venue launches and lifestyle food and beverage campaigns, the DOSM will embody a values-driven, brand-obsessed mindset and be a charismatic relationship builder who thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments. - Minimum 7-10 years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience in luxury hospitality
- Pre-opening experience in luxury, lifestyle, or mixed-use properties
- Proven commercial strategy leadership for high-profile hotels or residential/hotel hybrids
- Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting and revenue strategy
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Established network within Brickell, Miami, South Florida or comparable markets
- Experience with condo hotel or residential components

Job Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategy across all revenue streams
- Partner with revenue management for pricing, segmentation, forecasting, and channel strategy
- Build and oversee annual sales and marketing budgets, goals, and KPI frameworks
- Drive year-over-year revenue growth and deliver on asset value targets
- Lead full pre-opening commercial timeline including sales deployment, PR strategy, brand identity and execution, digital ecosystem launch, and content strategy
- Design and activate pre-opening sales plan to achieve early market penetration
- Develop messaging, positioning, and storytelling aligned with the luxury vision
- Build, inspire, and manage a high-performing sales organization
- Cultivate key accounts across corporate, group, wholesale, entertainment, and luxury leisure
- Establish La Mare as a preferred destination for luxury travelers and long-stay guests
- Lead strategic partnerships within Miami’s luxury and cultural ecosystems
- Lead digital strategy including SEO/SEM, paid media, social, CRM, and web performance
