Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Department Leader to join their property located at 711 S Hope St, Los Angeles, California. This full-time management position plays a pivotal role in steering the property’s sales department, particularly for properties with bookings exceeding 300 peak rooms and significant local catering revenue. The role carries a competitive annual salary ranging from $141,000 to $191,000, with eligibility for bonuses based on performance.

Educational requirements include either a 2-year degree with significant sales experience or a 4-year degree complemented by relevant professional experience. This position demands strategic thinking, innovation in marketing approaches, and a proactive stance in market intelligence gathering to adapt to economic trends and gain competitive advantage.

Beyond sales and strategy, the Sales Department Leader champions leadership development, workforce planning, and talent management to build a high-performing sales team. They set clear goals, provide coaching and mentoring, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, partnering with Human Resources for talent acquisition and retention. This role emphasizes continuous improvement, accountability, and fostering an inclusive culture that reflects Marriott International’s values.
