Job Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous sales experience in a luxury or lifestyle hotel preferred
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Delphi, and Access database tools
- Knowledge of food and wine preferred
- Willingness to work varying schedules including holidays and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to travel locally for client meetings

- Analyze banquet event orders to ensure all room setups, equipment, supplies, staffing, and menus meet or exceed customer expectations
- Monitor achievement of sales team objectives and take action to correct shortfalls
- Maintain hotel relationships with key accounts to increase customer satisfaction and revenue
- Use professional sales techniques to negotiate best possible terms satisfying customer requirements
- Articulate and leverage hotel benefits to close sales opportunities
- Prepare and maintain a current annual marketing plan with measurable initiatives for each business segment
