Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or general education degree (GED)
  • 3-5 years of equivalent work experience in hotel sales
  • passion for hotel sales with a competitive, hunter mentality
  • strong understanding of hotel sales and competitive sets
  • proven track record of sales success
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • basic computer skills for communication and data analysis

Job Duties

  • Drive growth of total hotel revenue and positive RevPAR index change year-over-year
  • execute sales process to contract group business and secure corporate negotiated rate accounts
  • champion and execute the hotel's overall business plan
  • evaluate competitive set and provide recommendations to sales staff and general manager
  • optimize sales staff by ensuring understanding of mission and tools for business plan execution
  • develop relationships with hotel ownership and pertinent field/corporate staff
