The Director of Sales is a pivotal role within Huntington Pacific Hotels LLC, recently announced for the Home2 by Hilton location in Temecula. This full-time position plays a critical role in spearheading sales efforts while leading a high-performing sales team to maximize revenue opportunities. This role is designed for a goal-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The Director of Sales splits their time primarily between direct sales activities and team leadership duties, dedicating 65% of their efforts to sales initiatives and 35% to strategy development and team management.
Key responsibilities include promoting and negotiating group and corporate contracts, establishing competitive rates, and overseeing marketing promotions that drive business growth across corporate, group, and leisure markets. The role requires someone with a proven track record in hospitality sales who can inspire their team to exceed revenue goals. They will build strong client relationships that foster loyalty and repeat business, while ensuring seamless collaboration with hotel departments to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This position reports directly to the General Manager and Area Director of Sales, highlighting its strategic importance within the sales and marketing department.

Experience requirements include a minimum of five years in hotel sales with supervisory or management responsibilities and demonstrable success in meeting or surpassing sales targets. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs, with some travel needed for client meetings and industry events. Job Duties
- Lead, motivate, train, and coach the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue goals
- drive direct sales efforts through phone calls, emails, client appointments, site tours, and networking opportunities
- build and maintain strong relationships with top accounts, ensuring trust, loyalty, and repeat business
- negotiate and manage corporate and group contracts, including national account protocols and annual RFPs
- develop and deliver sales presentations, marketing promotions, and FAM trips to showcase the hotel and generate new business
- monitor account production, evaluate market trends, and leverage reports and tools to capture market share
- establish competitive rates and implement effective strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
- collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
- prepare weekly sales recaps, manage sales budgets, and actively participate in hotel and corporate meetings
- represent the hotel at trade shows, conventions, and industry events to promote the brand and develop business opportunities
