As the next Director of Sales for KAJ Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing strategic sales initiatives across all four Marriott properties under the KAJ umbrella. This position is tailored for a passionate sales leader who excels at building genuine relationships, motivating teams, and driving revenue growth through a blend of data-driven strategies and heartfelt client engagement. The Director of Sales will be responsible for proactively seeking new business opportunities, maintaining and expanding key accounts, and spearheading sales plans that significantly impact occupancy rates, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and overall market share. You will work closely with property managers, corporate partners, and the wider KAJ team to ensure that all sales efforts are aligned with the company’s mission of care, creativity, and purpose.
The role requires empathy as a guiding principle, as you will lead with compassion and integrity, fostering a sales culture that emphasizes personalized service and meaningful community connections. Coaching and developing your sales team will be critical, alongside collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of customer-centric strategies. Flexibility is also key, with expectations to travel, host client events, and occasionally work evenings or weekends to meet business objectives. Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Delphi, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, is essential to maximize sales effectiveness and streamline account management processes.

Job Requirements
- Experience in hospitality sales leadership
- Knowledge of proactive sales techniques
- Ability to manage client accounts effectively
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM software, especially Delphi
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to travel and work non-standard hours occasionally
Job Qualifications
- Proven success in hospitality sales leadership, preferably as a director of sales or senior sales manager
- Expertise in proactive sales, account management, and business development
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a passion for people
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Delphi experience preferred, and Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to travel, host client events, and work occasional evenings or weekends
