Job Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in a hotel setting
- experience using hotel reservation and revenue management systems
- strong communication and negotiation skills
- ability to work full-time and complete in-person client visits
- knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- understanding of hotel operations
- proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of past sales experience in a hotel setting
- previous Hilton and/or Marriott experience is a plus
- previous experience with multiple property sales
- knowledge of hotel operations
- knowledge of Microsoft Word

- experience with hotel reservation and revenue management systems
- ability to complete in-person sales visits to clients
- understanding of how to improve local negotiated account business
Job Duties
- Analyze market and accordingly create marketing plan to drive group business and ADR
- work to ensure property reaches budget/revenue goals
- articulate sales performance to corporate office and general manager
- communicate effectively to staff on sales clients, groups, VIP guests, etc
- call new prospects drive business new and repeat business
- solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various efforts
- develop and continually enhance relationships with key accounts to maintain and increase our market share
- maintain consistent and timely verbal and written communication with clients
- assist in developing an annual sales and marketing plan
- identify marketing strategy for each market segment
- analyze historical, current and future hotel trends, and market trends
- create selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue to meet/exceed sales goals
