Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred (Best Western brand experience a plus)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing client relationships
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Best Western tools or similar CRM systems preferred
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and market share for the Best Western Plus Carpinteria
  • Schedule and conduct sales appointments, client visits, and site tours
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and leisure clients to generate repeat and new business
  • Conduct solicitation calls and participate in sales blitzes and community networking events
  • Maintain accurate sales data, track production, and prepare weekly activity recaps for the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales
  • Analyze revenue trends, STR reports, and market data to identify opportunities and adjust strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure guest needs and event details are executed flawlessly
  • Provide support with marketing collateral, proposals, and client correspondence
  • Represent the hotel at local events, trade shows, and chamber functions as needed
  • Assist with additional sales and administrative duties as assigned
