TownePlace Suites by Marriott Phoenix Chandler/Fashion Center, located at 3635 W Chandler Blvd, Chandler, Arizona, is a premier extended-stay hotel owned and operated by Aimbridge Hospitality, an independent franchisee that manages the property separately from Marriott International, Inc. This hotel is ideally situated just a five-minute walk from the Chandler Fashion Center Mall and close to the historic downtown of Chandler, Phoenix, AZ. Known for its top-notch amenities, it features comfortable one-bedroom suites with separate living and sleeping areas, fully functional kitchens, complimentary buffet breakfasts, an outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center, free WiFi, and flat-screen TVs with premium cable channels. The hotel prides itself on a team-oriented culture that emphasizes collaboration, employee support, and daily communication through Stand-up Meetings to celebrate achievements and discuss improvements. The goal of this establishment is to make every guest feel at home during their stay, whether for a short night or an extended period.

The Area Director of Sales (ADOS) role is a full-time management position that carries significant responsibility within the Aimbridge Hospitality portfolio. Reporting directly to regional leadership, the ADOS is charged with overseeing sales performance and nurturing a strong, dynamic sales culture across assigned properties. This position is crucial in driving total revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing sales teams, and ensuring operational compliance. As an overtime eligible manager, the ADOS will engage actively in telemarketing, cold calling, appointments, and site tours to maximize revenue generation. Additionally, the ADOS leads and develops a sales team of up to ten members, providing coaching, training, and work schedules to promote a high-performance environment. Regular reporting and communication with leadership are also critical elements of this role.

The position requires strong guest and employee engagement skills to foster a positive workplace culture, operational compliance to align with Aimbridge Hospitality’s policies, and strategic thinking to implement effective sales tactics. The ADOS must be capable of evaluating options and resolving challenges calmly under pressure, as well as proficient in financial data analysis and basic arithmetic functions to support revenue management. This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 annually, with a quarterly incentive plan, and a comprehensive benefits package eligible after a waiting period. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability income, life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, a 401k retirement plan, and the convenience of daily pay options. This position presents an excellent opportunity for experienced hotel sales professionals seeking to advance their careers in a supportive and growth-focused environment.
