Job Requirements

  • A four-year college degree is preferred
  • Previous sales experience in a hotel of comparable size and scope is required
  • Operations experience is preferred
  • Proven experience in public relations and community marketing is essential
  • Expert use of Excel Word Delphi and Access database tools

Job Duties

  • Interview select train and coach sales associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established standards and embody core values
  • Use internal and external data to develop comprehensive strategic plans incorporating all business segments
  • Achieve annual hotel revenue goals and identify customer requirements to craft offers increasing revenue share
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Use professional negotiation techniques to secure best possible terms leveraging the unique coastal benefits of the resort
  • Prepare and maintain a current annual marketing plan with measurable initiatives and travel locally to promote the resort and review competition
  • Follow sustainability guidelines related to the EarthView program and maintain effective oral and written presentations to communicate recommendations
