The role of Director of Rooms & Guest Services at Hilton is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire Rooms Division operations of the hotel. This includes managing key departments such as front office, housekeeping, and guest services. Strategic leadership in this position involves shaping service excellence initiatives, monitoring guest satisfaction, and implementing improvements to maintain high standards of service quality. Financial oversight is another critical aspect, as the Director manages budgeting, cost controls, inventory, and systems usage to meet operational goals efficiently.
Beyond operational management, the Director of Rooms & Guest Services collaborates closely with other departments such as sales and marketing to coordinate special events, site visits, and promotional activities that drive the hotel's success. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations, preferably in rooms division
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software and systems
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Exceptional leadership and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in hotel rooms division management or guest services leadership
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
