The role of Director of Rooms at Schulte Hospitality Group is an exciting leadership position tailored for dynamic, service-oriented professionals eager to lead and innovate in the hospitality industry. This full-time role, offering a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, places the successful candidate at the heart of the guest experience, overseeing the critical Rooms Division that includes Front Desk and Housekeeping operations. The Director of Rooms is entrusted with managing the rooms budget and financial planning, forecasting room revenue and operating expenses, and maintaining essential statistical and financial records. Beyond managing numbers, this role demands strategic planning to align Front Desk and Housekeeping operations with the company's ambitious goals and values.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in front office and housekeeping operations as a director or above at a similar size and type of hotel
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or business preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Financial savvy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • High level of experience in OnQ, Hilton systems, and Alice preferred
