The role offered is for a high-responsibility position managing the Rooms Division, encompassing Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, and Loss Prevention operations. The position reports directly within the executive leadership team and requires a seasoned professional who is capable of overseeing and coordinating all facets of the division to ensure top-notch guest service and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will work closely with other Executive Committee members to achieve financial targets, maintain service standards, and foster positive employee relations. They will be deeply involved in hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions, supported by their management team. Supervisory responsibilities include directing the daily operations of multiple departments, ensuring consistent delivery of guest services, and maintaining clear communication with the Resort Manager and other department heads.
Moreover, the Assistant Manager is expected to recommend motivational programs for staff development and assist in creating the annual budget and action plans, including setting objectives to be pursued throughout the year. Monitoring operational results via daily reviews and weekly forecasting and scheduling is a critical part of maintaining smooth operations. This leadership position requires attendance at key meetings and active engagement with associates and department heads.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience in a 4 Diamond hotel/resort environment
- Background in rooms operations
- Exceptional management skills with a proven track record in mentoring/leading a successful team
- Ability to budget and forecast productivities and direct expenses
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors, community and organizations
- Excellent technical skills including MS Office, PMS system Opera, Delphi and Oracle
- Flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Must be detail oriented, extremely organized and punctual

Job Duties
- Works closely with the other Executive Committee members to ensure all financial, service standard and employee relation goals are met
- Participates in the hiring, training, scheduling, reviewing and disciplining of all staff with the support of their operations management team
- Coordinates, supervises and directs all aspects of the operation with the support of department heads and assistant managers
- Ensures that guest service standards are met and developed to maintain consistent levels of excellent guest service
- Maintains close communication with the Resort Manager and other department/division heads
- Recommends programs for the motivation and development of staff
- Assists in developing annual budget and action plans, including annual objectives
- Reviews daily operating results and weekly forecasting and scheduling, taking immediate corrective action if required
- Conducts daily review of Rooms Division hotel operations with Department Heads
- Attends hotel operational meetings, room's departmental meetings, and associate-related events
- Reviews annual objectives composed by department heads and monitors progress to completion over coming year
