Gaylord Hotels prides itself on a culture that values creativity, entrepreneurship, and dedicated service, embodied by their team members known as STARs. These STARs are empowered to exceed traditional hotel service, fostering an environment where associates can grow their careers and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success.
Located at 201 Waterfront St, National Harbor, Maryland, Marriott International offers a dynamic and remote work-friendly opportunity for a Revenue Management professional. This full-time management position offers an annual salary range of $129,000 to $176,000 and includes bonus eligibility, reflecting the high importance of this role within the organizational structure.
The role focuses on leading rooms inventory management, overseeing activities and staff related to revenue streams for lodging, special events, packages, pool cabanas, and water attractions. The successful candidate will act as a vital partner with sales and marketing stakeholders to establish and refine sales and revenue strategies that maximize profit and market share. This position assumes full accountability for room inventory management systems, rate strategies, and the alignment of all revenue-generating packages within the operational systems.
Responsibilities extend to forecasting, budgeting, and projecting revenue to ensure financial objectives are met consistently. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in transient demand, collaborating closely with marketing and other departments to champion a revenue management mindset across areas such as special events and pool revenue. They will provide leadership not only within the revenue management team but also to general managers and property leadership, influencing sales strategy development and execution.
A significant component of the position involves meticulous data analysis and reporting. This includes managing both weekly and long-range forecasts, comparing actual versus projected sales, and conducting thorough revenue and profit opportunity analyses. The individual will utilize advanced computer systems and software to generate accurate, timely reports and presentations that inform strategic decision-making.
Another critical aspect of the role is building and maintaining successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including owners, corporate leadership, guests, and sales leaders. Effective communication of brand initiatives, demand forecasts, and market insights is essential to align goals and drive coordinated efforts across departments and partner organizations.
Marriott International and Gaylord Hotels emphasize their commitment to equal opportunity employment, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and values each associate's unique background. They offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ wellbeing, professional growth, and work-life balance.
Joining Gaylord Hotels means becoming part of a company that champions career advancement, creativity, and extraordinary service delivery. This role provides an exciting platform for a revenue management professional ready to contribute to a high-performing team while enjoying the support and resources of a global hospitality leader.
