The role of Property Operations Director at Hilton is integral to maintaining the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction within the hotel property. This position involves overseeing all facility operations, including the maintenance and compliance of building systems such as mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems. The director is tasked with ensuring the physical property meets all federal, state, and local regulations to provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members alike. The Property Operations Director also spearheads capital projects, property improvements, and renovations, managing every aspect from budgeting and scheduling to contractor coordination and regulatory licensing.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, facilities management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in property operations or hotel facility management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in managing capital projects and facility maintenance programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality management, facilities management, or related field
- Proven experience in property operations or hotel facility management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively
- Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations concerning building safety and compliance
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to drive operational excellence and manage budgets successfully
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Job Duties
- Lead facility operations by directing the functionality, safety, and compliance of the hotel’s buildings, mechanical systems, electrical systems, HVAC, life safety systems, and grounds in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Oversee facility maintenance by conducting facility inspections, maintaining documentation for energy management and conservation programs, and overseeing preventive maintenance initiatives
- Direct property improvements by leading capital projects and property rehabilitations including scheduling, budgeting, contractor bidding, and licensing/permitting while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Drive operational excellence by directing daily department operations including guest service initiatives, product quality, inventory management, budgeting, forecasting, and adherence to industry standards
- Cultivate a high-performing team by driving engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
