The role of Director of Property Management at Boardwalk is critical to ensuring the seamless operation and sustained growth of the company’s diverse real estate holdings. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 7 years experience in property management
  • At least 3 years experience in a managerial or leadership position
  • Familiarity with real estate portfolio management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in property management software
  • Valid driver's license

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration real estate management or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in property management with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing diverse commercial and residential property portfolios
  • Strong knowledge of local state and federal regulations relevant to property management

Job Duties

  • Lead property management teams across commercial and residential properties including hiring training and performance management
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the portfolio
  • Oversee day-to-day property operations including maintenance vendor management and tenant services
  • Monitor financial performance including budgets expenses and revenue and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations including safety and environmental standards
  • Partner with leasing asset management and acquisitions teams to support property performance and strategic initiatives
  • Manage tenant relations including resolving escalated issues disputes and lease enforcement matters
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics including occupancy retention operational costs and maintenance response times
  • Oversee capital projects renovations and preventive maintenance programs to maintain property value and appeal
  • Coordinate regular property inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met
  • Develop and maintain reporting for executive leadership and investors on property performance and operational status
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements cost savings and enhanced tenant satisfaction
  • Ensure vendor contracts and service agreements are negotiated effectively and monitored for performance
