Job Description

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is a globally recognized hospitality and food service provider with over 100 years of history, driven by a family-owned legacy. The company operates in a diverse range of venues including iconic sports arenas, stunning national parks, exciting casinos, hotels, and retail environments. Delaware North is committed to creating great experiences in great places and fostering a culture where employees are valued members of a global team with unique opportunities for career growth and professional development. Known for its inclusive and supportive work environment, Delaware North offers a wide variety of roles both part-time and full-time across multiple sectors such as restaurants, hotels, sports, gaming, and operations. The company’s focus on people-centric service and innovation has made it a leader in the hospitality industry.

The role available is that of a full-time Director of Performance Marketing, Lodging, based in either the Washington, DC area or Buffalo, New York, with remote opportunities for well-qualified candidates willing to travel extensively to core locations. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing digital demand generation and optimization strategies across multiple marketing channels specifically targeting Delaware North’s lodging business. This includes managing paid media, paid social, metasearch, OTA (Online Travel Agency) placements, and franchiser commercial platforms such as Marriott and IHG systems. The role’s primary goal is to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that maximize revenue per available room (RevPAR), improve occupancy pacing, increase average daily rate (ADR), and enhance profitability across all channels. Additionally, the Director will align paid media investments with overall business revenue and distribution strategies to ensure efficient and measurable growth.

Key responsibilities include directing digital activation and optimization efforts using a variety of platforms such as paid search, PMAX, paid social, programmatic media, and OTA merchandising. The Director will work closely with agency partners and internal digital teams to optimize targeting, pacing, and testing frameworks, while ensuring alignment with strategic campaign priorities. Analytical skills are essential as the Director interprets channel performance metrics, demand trends, audience insights, and pacing to inform data-driven decisions that drive revenue growth. Furthermore, the role involves coordinating the timing and cohesion between upper-funnel brand awareness initiatives and lower-funnel demand tactics to maximize marketing impact.

Innovative leadership is needed to advance the adoption of franchiser demand systems, identify integration opportunities, track platform innovations, and lead test-and-learn roadmaps aimed at improving conversion rates and increasing direct booking shares. This position requires a seasoned marketing professional with strong fluency of Marriott and IHG commercial ecosystem tools such as Ignite, Boost, and Koddi. Delaware North offers a competitive salary range of $111,900 to $151,000 annually, inclusive of an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or an uncapped sales incentive plan tied to the role. The company also provides an impressive benefits package designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellbeing, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and significant discounts at company hotels and resorts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital marketing leader with a minimum of eight years in performance marketing within independent or branded hotel environments who is ready to drive topline revenue, manage enterprise-level resources, and guide agency collaboration in a dynamic and evolving industry. Delaware North invites candidates eager to innovate, enact change, and pursue growth to join their team and contribute to shaping the future of hospitality.
